GeneFluidics Achieves ISO 9001 Certification


IRWINDALE, CA – November 28, 2010 – GeneFluidics, Inc., a biotech company that designs, markets and manufactures automated testing equipment based on proprietary electrochemical-based molecular analysis and an advanced engineering platform, today announced that it has received ISO 9001:2008 certification, an internationally recognized quality system standard for continual improvement to process performance.

The ISO 9001:2008 certification covers the design, development, manufacturing, sales and service of GeneFluidics’ electrochemical sensor chips and reader platform. This certification demonstrates that GeneFluidics has a quality management system in place to ensure consistency and improvement of processes, leading to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Certified organizations are committed to continuous improvement and are re-assessed annually to ensure progress is being maintained.
